On behalf of a global FMCG client, we are seeking a Buyer. Based in Riyadh, and reporting to the Procurement Manager.
You will be responsible for sourcing high-quality products and services for the IT, Marketing, and Operations departments. Responsibilities include processing purchase orders and contract agreements, negotiating optimal prices and terms with suppliers and contractors, and tracking order status.
Key tasks:
- Reviewing purchase requisitions and clarifying requirements with departments.
- Sourcing vendors, sending RFQs/RFPs, and obtaining quotes.
- Negotiating deals and creating purchase orders.
- Collaborating with the management team to ensure deliveries meet project goals.
- Providing regular order status reports to management.
- Coordinating transport and tracking orders for timely delivery.
- Working with receivers to assess product quality and address discrepancies.
- Supporting inventory management for User Departments and the A&I team in maintaining inventory levels regularly.
- Working with User Departments for Budget
- Assisting the Procurement Manager with spend analysis for User Departments.
- Conducting market surveys and advising on trends and alternatives.
